From Surviving to Thriving What was your dream of your life in medicine? Many of us dreamt of a fulfilling life as clinicians, yet find ourselves overworked, underappreciated, and lacking a sense of accomplishment. The daily grind leaves us emotionally and physically depleted, while sacrifices pull us away from the people and things we value most. But there's hope. The medical field is shifting culturally to prioritize clinician well-being, but real change requires action beyond systemic efforts. And for many, that action needs to come now.
If your goal is more than burnout prevention & you seek more control over your circumstances, it's time to reclaim your dream of vitality, personal satisfaction, and impact. In honor of the sacrifices you've made for your career and patients you serve, your purpose and well-being should be valued. It is important that you practice how you want, where you want, for as long as you want and have the support to make it so. I may not know you personally (yet), but I know for you to get this point, it took strength, courage, confidence, discipline, persistence, sacrifice, and whole lot of smarts. You can harness that power and knowledge to bring to fruition a life that serves you well and that you can provide your best service in. |
Path to Thriving through CoachingCoaching offers tailored approaches to expand on the foundation you have already built, fostering an environment where you are the priority, your values are fundamental, and the solutions are targeted and personalized for your needs. It is different from psychotherapy and counseling, which focuses on mental illness and trauma, and supports the client to reach a baseline functioning. Coaching focuses on higher levels of human potential and unlocking great measures of success. Our clinician-centered coaching utilizes woman-centered coaching principles, designed by transformational leadership coach Dr. Claire Zammit. It specifically goes beyond the methods of traditional coaching to address the unique barriers that high achieving women may face in reaching their next level.
Coaching is endorsed by numerous medical organizations (American Medical Association, specialty-specific organizations, Graduate Medical Education, among others). As described by the American Medical Association, it can be a tool for lifelong success in medicine from pre-med through long-term practice. Our mission is to help female clinicians to regain their joy and vitality, and live rich, fulfilling lives in medicine and beyond. |
